Location logic
Town-centre convenience.
The parcel is beside Hougang MRT on the North-East Line and the existing Hougang Bus Interchange, with Hougang Mall in the town centre. HDB's official plan also identifies Hougang Polyclinic, sports facilities and nearby schools around the site.
ERA Research notes that the mixed-use development is expected to add substantial commercial space to the town centre. The final commercial mix and residential details must still be confirmed by the developer.
LTA has identified Hougang as an interchange between the North-East Line and Cross Island Line Phase 1, which is targeted to open in 2030. Timelines can change, so this is an infrastructure reference rather than a completion promise.
